On behalf of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®-Zeta Beta Omega Chapter, I extend a heartfelt welcome to our website! Whether you’re a sister reconnecting with our chapter or a visitor curious about our sisterhood, we’re thrilled to have you here.

Zeta Beta Omega Chapter’s rich history dates back to January 24, 1953, when our nineteen charter members, a true collection of the leading women in education and philanthropy of the 1950s, envisioned bringing Alpha Kappa Alpha’s mission of Service to All Mankind to the Greater Flint Community. Our work started with aiding the people affected by the Beecher tornado of 1953 and has grown to include awarding over $300K in scholarships to Flint area high school graduates. Annually, our chapter hosts a Mother-Daughter Brunch honoring community leaders and during the Flint Water Crisis, we provided clean water and food to thousands. We have kept the children of Flint and Genesee County on track through several tutoring & enrichment programs, scholarship workshops, book and supply drives, and college preparation seminars.

Zeta Beta Omega Chapter has supported policy reform and partnered with organizations across the county to support civic engagement, voter education and address physical needs. There is no end to our dedication to service.
